KEEP TRACK OF YOUR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

 

 

 

Use the CE tracker to keep track of the sessions you attended. After the annual meeting, you will enter this information onto an online form to claim continuing education credit.

Please note: CE eligible sessions are noted on the mobile app. Sessions that are not eligible for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit or Continuing Medical Laboratory Education (CMLE) credit are designated as “NOT CME”.

Additionally, the following events/session are not eligible for CME/CMLE:

  • Social Events and meals listed in the meeting program
  • Visiting exhibits because of standards of the ACCME that are designated to prevent commercial bias
  • Viewing posters in the Exhibit Hall because the posters are in line of sight of commercial exhibits

 

HOW TO CLAIM CE

IMPORTANT: The deadline to claim CME, CMLE, or Certificate of Attendance is February 17, 2025 (11:59PM Eastern )

 

Most of the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo scientific sessions are eligible for CME or CMLE. See the CE Tracker to see what sessions are eligible for continuing education credit. Follow the instructions below to claim continuing education credit: 

 

   

  1. Click one of the buttons above.
  2. Click on the "Start Claiming" button.
  3. Log in using your myAMP account information.
  4. Complete Step 1: AMP 2024 Annual Meeting & Expo Survey.
  5. Return to the course to complete steps 2-4 and follow the instructions on the page.
    • For your convenience, we have provided a digital CE calculator on Step 2 to calculate the number of hours
       

CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of ASCP and the Association for Molecular Pathology. ASCP is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement – The ASCP designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Medical Laboratory Education (CMLE)

This continuing medical laboratory education activity is recognized by the American Society for Clinical Pathology as meeting the criteria for up to 16.50 CMLE credits.  ASCP CMLE credits are acceptable to meet the continuing education requirement for the ASCP Board of Registry Certification Maintenance Program.

 

SPEAKER DISCLOSURES

Disclosure information is provided to learners and contains all financial relationships that each individual in a position to control the content disclosed to ASCP.  All of these relationships were treated as a conflict of interest, and have been mitigated. (C7 SCS 6.1--6.2, 6.5) All individuals in a position to control the content of CE are listed below. If their name is not listed, they disclosed that they had no financial relationships with a commercial interest.
